A handmade soap from Cottage Industries, Pondicherry.
Description
A soap made in small batches at Cottage Industries, the Sri Aurobindo Ashram unit established in 1949. Made by hand, with plant oils and botanical materials, in a workshop that has deliberately stayed small.
No synthetic detergents, no artificial colour. The bar will soften if it sits in water, so keep it on a draining dish between uses and it will last considerably longer.
